Voted to approve $8.5 million grant application and implementation of upgrade to Cesar Chavez Park.
Approved $8.5 million grant to improve the
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park in West Modesto.
Supported City initiatives that furthered union based job creation at local manufacturing companies, including Stanislaus Food Products who added a packing line.
Approved converting a motel into a 100+ unit Transitional housing complex.
Established program to give the unhoused vocational skills and jobs keeping Modesto’s streets clean.
